Seven By Seven

Seven By Seven is the title of a fantastic anthology of crime stories, that all revolve around the seven deadly sins.  I competitively chose seven talented authors from the ones who frequent my ezine, Crime and Suspense, and charged them with creating seven stories each, that independently deal with the seven deadly sins.  And another catch was that no story could be over 600 words long!  It was a challenge, but they all came through with flying colors. The editing was my job, but it was easier than I expected because the authors are so darn good! And the foreword is written by the talented G. Miki Hayden.

A Wicked Good Play is the second of the Pastor Wilson cozy mystery novels. In it, the pastor of a small church gets drawn into being a sleuth by both circumstances and his conscience.  

There is a mysterious person who seems to have an uncanny relationship with the wild deer in the pasture across the road from the parsonage... poachers who shoot at the mysterious person, AND endanger the pastor's family... and a murder by poison in front of hundreds of people.  

The church is in the middle of a building program, and one of the people working on the church is a suspect. Whodunnit?  And why??  Read the book to find out.
