Who is Tony Burton

 

I am an author. 

I am also a man who is blessed to be married to a wonderful woman who treats him like a king. My wife Lara and I live in the mountains of NW Georgia with our dog, Buddy.  I have been, among other things, a US Navy sailor, a teacher, a college professor, a consultant, a course developer and trainer, a newspaper columnist, an editor, writer and publisher.  I have two wonderful daughters who live in Georgia fairly close by.  I also have two talented and handsome sons who live in other parts of the country: one in Colorado and the other in Wisconsin.

I'm a pretty good cook, and my wife thinks I am the world's best at backing trailers and reading stories to her, aloud.  I struggle to be the husband and father I think I should be.

As far as my affiliations, I am a member of the Georgia Writers Association, the Public Safety Writers Association, an active member of the Mystery Writers of America, the PMA and SPAN.
